Aequs is a diversified contract manufacturing company providing vertically integrated product solutions across the Aerospace and Consumer industries. By leveraging its manufacturing ecosystems, Aequs reliably delivers supply chain efficiencies to its global customer base. Aequs currently engages over 4,000 people and operates manufacturing facilities across India, France, and the United States.
Beginning as Quest Global Manufacturing in 2006 in Bengaluru, Aequs commenced manufacturing of aero-structure components and aero-engine components from our units in the Belagavi Aerospace Cluster (BAC) in 2009. Aequs has since consistently grown its business by developing and acquiring new manufacturing capabilities and diversifying its product portfolio and customer base across the Aerospace and Consumer segments.
Our advanced manufacturing capabilities also enable us to enter new business segments by leveraging existing capabilities. The strategic expansion of our manufacturing operations in North America and France, through acquisitions in 2015 and 2016 respectively, have allowed us to acquire new capabilities in the Aerospace segment and expand our portfolio of products.
We entered the Consumer segment in 2016 with the manufacture of plastics products, primarily toys. Over the years, we have expanded our product portfolio to include consumer electronics, plastics, and consumer durables for our clients.
Aequs operates from three unique, engineering-led vertically integrated precision manufacturing “ecosystems” in India. These ecosystems comprise our Company, our suppliers and our Joint Ventures, which allow us to manufacture products in accordance with our clients’ specifications and offer “one-stop-shop” capabilities.
